The default uses 350 W for 10 h/day plus 1500 W for 1 h/day. The season length starts at 180 operating days.

Use measured watts when possible
Horsepower alone is not enough to know electrical input. If a smart energy monitor, pump controller, or manufacturer table gives watts at a particular speed, use that number. A variable-speed schedule can be represented as separate low- and high-power periods.
