Formula used
Delivered heating capacity is converted from Btu/h to thermal kilowatts and divided by COP to estimate active electrical input. The active/cycling percentage then converts that rating-point input into an average model before calculating kWh and cost.
For all modes, electricity cost equals kWh × electricity price in dollars per kWh. Replace the state average with the actual rate from your bill when possible.
